What's the difference?
The short version:
The short version is that Creative Freedom and Crevida are now two separate systems. They share some of the same foundations, but Crevida is designed for the whole wedding industry and Creative Freedom was designed exclusively for Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist. One is not better than the other, it simply means there may be features, terminology or pricing in one that suit your business better.
Creative Freedom is still Creative Freedom
Creative Freedom was built specifically for hair and makeup artists, and that remains a big part of what makes it familiar to its members. The language throughout the system, the way certain features work and tools such as Assistants, Look Book, Connect and Projects have all been developed with hair and makeup businesses in mind. Creative Freedom will continue to receive updates and improvements, but we’re also conscious that many members like the system they already know. We don’t want to change things simply for the sake of changing them.
So if Creative Freedom is working well for your business, there is absolutely no need to move anywhere.

What is different about Crevida?
Crevida has been designed for the wider wedding industry rather than specifically for hair and makeup. That means it needs to work equally well for a photographer, florist, planner, stylist or venue supplier as it does for a hair or makeup artist. Because of that, some of the terminology is broader and some parts of the system have been designed differently. Crevida also has features and developments that Creative Freedom doesn’t have, including more use of AI throughout the platform. Some of those AI features are included within Crevida Plus and Pro memberships, while some future AI tools may use additional AI credits depending on how much processing they require. At the same time, Creative Freedom has features that Crevida doesn’t have, particularly some of the HMUA-specific tools mentioned above. They aren’t intended to be identical systems.
